Hey Kiddo, it may have nothing to do with your playbook and more to do with how many people are hopping on the internet at around the same time. You might have to hit refresh in the browser window (the little curve arrow) and it should reload the page again. Sometimes wi-fi systems can max out briefly.
Also if the web page you want has change its contents for some reason then the PB will have download the newer contents instead of loading it quicker through it's cache memory.
A recent tech guy I was talking to told me that there are no tablets on the marketplace that will be as fast as any current laptops no matter what the manufacturer says. He thinks the playbook is better then most include the droid and iPad, but the speed still isn't there yet.
