The internet browsers for Windows have expanded tremendously since the release of XP. While most of these browsers are graphically interfaced, some are not. Maintaining a browser is simple enough to do, especially the GUI’s. Most Internet interfaces do not require a lot of expertise in installing them. The best way to avoid issues is to download them from the main company page or use a recommended link from the site.
Fastest Web Browser and Default Browser
The fastest web browser is the one that is maintained by the user on an average basis. The user should check for updates for the web viewer on a monthly basis, unless the program is automated to check for them. If the user is installing the updates, these are either internal programming components or a release of a new browser version.
In some cases there are multiple browsers installed on the computer and one is set as a default browser. This can be changed by using the new browser and most times a prompt will ask if the user wants it set as the default. Another option on some browsers is to set it as the main browser in tools or preferences buttons. Some online work requires the use of multiple web viewers; both should be maintained by the end user.
